The Boatyard Guitar Workshop is a bit different. Rather than build you a guitar, we will teach you everything you need to know to build it yourself. Our highly individual tuition sessions will take you through the whole process from choosing the best woods to finishing and final set-up.
We pride ourselves on building precision instruments. By paying attention to the details, the finished guitars are great sounding, beautiful and responsive.

We are now offering an all-day luthiery 'taster' session. These are an ideal place to start if you want to find out what is involved in building your own guitar. They are great value at £120.00 for the whole day and if you do decide to carry on and build your own instrument afterwards we'll give you the first session for free!!
